Action, desire and energy
Mars in Capricorn
You act with discipline and ambition. You move step by step towards long-term goals.
Element and mode
Mars describes how you act: how you go after what you want, defend your boundaries and spend your energy.
In an Earth sign, Mars acts with stamina and common sense: it prefers a solid result to a flash of brilliance and moves at the pace it has set.
Cardinal sign: a launching energy, quick to start and open the way, even if others carry on.
Dignity: Exalted
This sign exalts Mars: it is especially highlighted here and expresses itself with remarkable intensity.
Next time in Capricorn
From November 25, 2027 to January 3, 2028.
About six weeks per sign: Mars keeps coming back to every sign. Times in UTC.
Where were your planets when you were born?
Your Moon, Venus and Mars depend on your date of birth, and on the time for the Moon, which changes sign every two and a half days. The test works them out in seconds.
