Type 1 Sagittarius

The Reformer, Sun in Sagittarius

The Sun in Sagittarius gives you an engine of enthusiasm and initiative, and type 1, the Reformer, makes you react on instinct first, with a keen sense of what is right. Together, they make a frank, direct energy: when you believe in something, you go for it.

What sets you in motion

Doing things right, living in line with your values and improving the world around you. Your Sun is in a mutable sign: you like to adjust, connect, explore several paths. In a type 1, this energy naturally heads towards what can be improved and made fairer.

Your combined strengths

Your Sun in Sagittarius gives you: optimism, open-mindedness, generosity. Your type 1: integrity, rigour, a sense of justice. Together, you bring vision, meaning and momentum. Passing things on, exploring, travelling or teaching suits you well.

What you are looking for deep down

To be good, upright and balanced. You need meaning and space. Travel, ideas, encounters: everything is a chance to widen the map.

In relationships

You need a relationship with room to breathe: freedom, shared projects, discoveries. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Your type adds an underlying fear, which a safe bond soothes: being at fault, bad or corrupt.

On good days and bad days

When you are thriving, you find the lightness and spontaneity of type 7: you allow yourself pleasure and joy without justifying it. Under pressure, you can slide towards type 4: you feel misunderstood and withdraw into your emotions and into what is missing. When pressure rises, lean on your Fire element: get moving again, with a walk, a short project or a challenge your size.

Your paths

Two common pitfalls: a demanding inner voice that judges quickly, yourself included, and promising more than time allows. Your growth path: welcoming imperfection, yours as well as other people's, with the same kindness.
